From Cookies to County Commissioner.

My Story.

From selling cookies at 13 years old in the Atlanta Airport to becoming an Ingham County Commissioner, my journey has been marked by a resolute commitment to community progress and empowerment. Graduating from BGSU, I swiftly transitioned to my role as an Ingham County Commissioner within just 9 months, showcasing my unwavering dedication to public service.

As an Ingham County Commissioner, my mission is clear: I am focused on fostering equitable economic development, promoting mental health awareness, and ensuring public safety within my district. This commitment is deeply rooted in my understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and neighborhoods alike.

My experience waking up at 6:00am every morning baking cookies, and selling them at the Atlanta Airport has equipped me with the skills to unite people, drive collaboration, and initiate meaningful change. Leveraging my position, I am dedicated to attracting positive investments and creating opportunities that lead to tangible improvements within the neighborhood.

With a heart for service, I am determined to build a district where every individual has the chance to flourish. Through advocating for equitable economic growth, championing mental health awareness, and prioritizing public safety, I aim to leave a lasting legacy of positive transformation and community well-being.
